This is an entry for the Palette Challenge by Siobhan68. tenshi-no-hi invited me to join in and get creative. And as I like the idea I wanted to try it. There is actually another motif in my head that I want to try but today I saw a tutorial (Wet in wet technique 1 - by Mind Mulick www.youtube.com/watch?v=4FwV08…) which I just had to experiment with.
The colours seemed to work with the idea so I just tried my luck.
Well, the water colours are not as bright as your screen colours and so the whole thing got a bit grayish. I also put a light yellow wash over the whole page first to avoid any white places which, in the end, might have contributed to the grayishness of the whole thing.
But it was fun and quick to do and I guess I learned a bit.

Wow, that looks great! I think it is a bigger challenge to fit the palette with traditional media. For digital it is a lot easier. But you did so well! I love to look at this friendly sun. I can feel the cold air on my skin by looking at your awesome work and the gentle sun beams touching my cheecks. I feel silence and peace and looking at this wonderful work clear up my mind. It feels like I can breathe again. I love pictures which are so strong in their emotions. Thank you for sharing this great piece of art!
